Good News Geeks

The easiest way of doing it is to download the free program iTunes from apple (Mac or Windows). Then, just click on the icon in our sidebar and iTunes will open with the Good News Geeks page where you can download episodes of the podcast or subscribe to the automatic downoad. That is why Apple is better. It’s easier.

Another way of doing it is: go to juice and download the appropriate windows or Macintosh version of juice. The program is free and no spyware or stuff like that to worry about. Follow the instructions for installing the program and then open it.

It is pretty intuitive, especially if you have iTunes. When you open the program interface, click on “add feed” and then copy this address - http://feeds.rapidfeeds.com/56/Good-News-Geeks/ - into the url space. You can also click on the icon and copy the address in your browser into your podcast downloading software. Be sure to change the beginning four letters to “http” before you enter it into your podcast software to download the podcast. If the web address begins with “feed” you will not get the podcast.

Whenever you open Juice it will check for new podcasts. You can also schedule other times to check or you can open Juice and hit the check for new podcasts button for updates.

To listen, all you have to do is start up iTunes. The podcasts will already be there in their own playlists. Windows Media Player or other media players may be more complicated. You can then copy the podcast to any mp3 player (ipod) and listen in.
