Idea for future podcast: On Sundays we go to Sunday School and from the lessen, we go to the morning service and from the sermon then some go to church Sunday evening and a third truth. During the week we may go to a midweek service and even possible a small group and more. What would happen if a church spent a week, a month, or a even a quarter and as a church focus on one aspect of the Christian faith and focused not only on learning the facts about it but rather focused on putting that practice/disciple/peace of knowledge into action. We are ever learning but seldom applying. What would happen to the church if we spend a month learning not only what say is but spend a month helping each other focus on not gossiping and holding each other accountable. It would seem to me that the church would grow much faster by teaching less and putting it into action more.

Time:

One of the things you mentioned was about creation. One of the books I am reading as well as some other articles, have been l talking about the view of time in premodern, modern and postmodern thought. Most of us view time in a modern (not to be confused with current) as being liner were as in a premodern era time was more circular in nature. Could it be that because of us being in a time of transitioning from modern to postmodern way of thinking some of the restraints found in modern thought are being reevaluated and it may be that our view of time today as being liner may someday go the way of the earth being the center of the universe?

At age 78 I'm not into GEEKOLOGY but ILWYAD (I like what you are doing) to reach kingdom youth. It does seem to me that many youth and adults are saying today, "I am my own authority." Could this be the reason we are experiencing cultural chaos? Keep up the good work GOOD NEWS GEEKS.

The Y generation has tremendous power and potential for good, perhaps more so than any preceeding generation. Imagine if the gospel were written in this technological age. It\'s exciting to wonder what God has in store for this generation. Switching gears, in the brief excerpts in which I have heard father R, I\'m guessing he\'s a mac man.
